Open your browser

Use Chrome, Safari, Edge, or any browser.

Go to amazon.com/redeem

Type the address yourself in the address bar.

Sign in to your account

Enter your email or phone number and password.

Find your claim code

Check the back of your card or your gift email. See Find your claim code.

Enter the claim code

Type the code in the box. Check for typos.

Select Apply to your balance

The amount is added to your account.

Confirm the new balance

A message shows your updated gift card balance.

Good to know

  • Gift card balance is usually applied at checkout automatically.
  • You can redeem more than one card. Repeat the steps for each code.
  • A gift card works only on the Amazon store where it was issued (for example, Amazon.com cards work on Amazon.com).
